Warranty

Illumiletter strives to produce the highest quality signs at wholesale prices with a fast turnaround, and we aim for complete customer satisfaction on every sign sold. Occasionally things still go wrong.

If all reasonable care has been taken after receiving your sign and something has failed to perform to expectations, we will repair or replace it where necessary under the terms below. Contact your sales associate with any warranty question at any time. We stand by our products.

Products manufactured by Illumiletter Wholesale Sign Company are warranted free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the shipment date unless otherwise specified in writing.

If any of the following components malfunction because of defects in workmanship or materials, Illumiletter has the sole option to repair or replace the defective material:

• Vinyl and digital prints
• Acrylic faces
• Failing trim cap
• Aluminum backs and returns
• Raceways
• Secondary low-voltage wiring and loose connections

Electronic components carry a parts-and-labor warranty from the original manufacturer. Claims must be filed with the manufacturer offering that warranty.

• LED lighting
• Power supplies — Illumiletter pays zero labor costs on defective power supplies

Components such as ballasts, transformers, LED message centers, flexible faces, paint and vinyl carry separate manufacturers’ warranties. On any item not listed above, Illumiletter extends the manufacturer’s warranty only. No other warranty is expressed or implied. This warranty supersedes all verbal and written agreements.

Illumiletter offers one (1) year of limited labor up to a maximum of $150.00 per approved claim, per sign.

Defective components are repaired or replaced during this period at no charge. Removal and reinstallation labor, and travel expenses, are not reimbursed beyond that limit.

Custom orders

All custom fabricated signs are non-cancelable and non-returnable once production has started. Check all proofs and sales quotes for size, design, spelling and color before production begins.

24-hour inspection

Once a sign is received and signed for, you have 24 hours to verify it is correctly manufactured and illuminates.

Inspect on receipt

It is the responsibility of the party receiving the shipment to inspect each product for visible damage. If there is a malfunction, notify Illumiletter before taking any action.

Returns for claim

Defective products that qualify for warranty must be returned to Illumiletter before a replacement or credit is issued.

• Fails to provide a suitable and responsible installation environment for the product
• Misuses, abuses, mishandles or misapplies the product, or the installer wires it faultily
• Fails to maintain the product properly
• Installs a sign with a known defect

This warranty does not cover

• Damage or defects caused by impact from other objects, or vandalism
• Damage or loss from acts of nature
• Damage or defects caused by disturbances or surges in electrical service, or improper line voltage under load
• Unauthorised attachments, alterations or modifications

Illumiletter is not liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, resulting from the use or the inability to use our product, and does not cover rental or other equipment expenses. Under no circumstances shall Illumiletter Wholesale Sign Company be held liable for any labor cost incurred from a defective product.
