Custom Fabrication

Send the artwork. We build the sign.

Channel letters, cabinets, monuments, pylons and print — fabricated in Yakima to your drawings and delivered on our trucks. Same-day quotes, most builds in three to four weeks.

How this works

Wholesale only. We do not compete with you.

Illumiletter builds for sign companies, installers and resellers. Your customer never hears from us, our name never goes on the sign, and a reseller’s permit is required on every custom order.

Everything below is built in our own shop — no import, no tariffs, no customs broker. If it is not on this page, ask anyway. Thirty years in, we have usually built it before.

By illumination

Channel letters

Six configurations across four illumination modes. Return depths of 3.5″ or 5.3″ standard, custom up to 8″. Matthews Paint System colors.

Front-lit channel letters

Acrylic face, trim cap or trimless, lit from inside. The workhorse.

Halo-lit channel letters

Solid metal face, light thrown back at the wall. Standoff mounted.

Front & back lit letters

Both at once — face illumination plus a halo behind.

Non-illuminated letters

Trimless stepped face, trimless face or standard trim cap. No wiring.

Open-face marquee letters

Exposed neon or bulb in an open pan. Period-correct.

Push-through lettering

Acrylic pushed through an aluminum face for a lit 3D edge.

By construction

Sign cabinets

Built to spec and painted to spec. ACM backer standard, aluminum panel options, 6500K LED and a rated power supply on every lit build.

Cloud cabinets

3″ or 5″ bent aluminum returns, custom shape, halo option.

Flex face cabinets

Tensioned fabric face — big, bright, and it takes a hit.

C-channel cabinets

Channel frame with angle retainer. 2″, 3″ or 4″ deep.

Angle build cabinets

Angle frame construction. 2″, 3″ or 6″ deep.

Shoebox cabinets

Aluminum face built to carry a letter set or push-through graphics.

Structures

Freestanding and mounted

The structure as well as the sign — welded, reinforced and built to take the wind load.

Monument signs

Freestanding, at grade, usually at the entrance.

Pylon signs

Cabinet between two poles, multi-tenant panels optional.

Pole covers

Conceal the structure. Fabricated to the pole.

Post and panel signs

Single face between two posts. Directional and site ID.

Blade signs

Double-faced perpendicular mount. Single-leg, two-leg or gravity-hung.

Projection blade signs

Low profile, mounted flush to the wall, no legs.

Everything else

Letters, print and hardware

Flat cut letters

Aluminum, PVC, HD foam, ACM or acrylic. Stud or standoff mount.

Large format printing

Cut vinyl and digital print for faces, panels and wraps.

Mounting options

Raceways, saddle mount, pole-in-pole, match plate, cantilever.

From artwork to loading dock

No portal, no ticket queue. One project manager owns your job start to finish.

01

Send it in

Vector artwork, dimensions, colors, ship-to and your reseller’s permit. Email works fine.

02

Same-day quote

You get a number the same day, with the spec written out so there is no ambiguity.

03

Approve the proof

Check sizes, spelling and colors carefully. Once production starts a custom sign is non-cancelable and non-returnable.

04

Build

Three to four weeks is typical. Complex or oversized work runs longer and we will say so up front.

05

Delivered

Within four hours of Yakima we bring it ourselves. Beyond that it ships freight, or you can will-call any time.

Send us artwork. Get a number the same day.
