What we need to quote your sign

Six things. Send all six in the first email and you will have a price back the same day.

The checklist

1. Vector artwork
A clean, vectorized graphic of the sign design so we can scale it without pixelation. .AI or .EPS preferred. Some .PDF files work — send it and we will tell you if we need something else.
2. Sign dimensions
Overall size. For a letter set, cap height and overall width of the layout. Return depth if you have a preference — 3.5″ and 5.3″ are standard, custom up to 8″.
3. Colors
Vinyl colors or CMYK codes. Matthews Paint System numbers for painted metal. Trim cap color if the build uses trim cap. LED color if it is not standard 6500K white.
4. Shipping address
So we can tell you whether it is on a delivery route, needs freight, or is a will-call.
5. Reseller’s permit
Required on custom orders. Send it once and it stays on file.
6. Anything else relevant
Permit packages, engineering requirements, site photos, wall or pole conditions, and any deadline you are working against.

Missing artwork is the single most common reason a quote sits. Everything else we can usually work around.

What happens after you send it

01

Same-day quote

A number back the same business day, with the spec written out.

02

Proof and approval

Check sizes, spelling and colors. Production is committed at approval.

03

Build

Three to four weeks typical; complex or oversized work runs longer and we say so.

04

Delivery

Our truck, freight, or will-call — your call.

If you only have a JPG

A note on file formats

“Vector” means the artwork is made of paths, not pixels. A logo pulled off a website is almost never vector, and a JPG of a logo cannot be scaled to a 4-foot letter set without redrawing it.

If all you have is a raster file, say so up front. We can usually redraw it, but that is a line item and it affects the schedule — better to know on day one than on day ten.
